Set against the backdrop of Gloucester’s coastal landscape, this seaside home was renovated to feel brighter, more open, and better connected to its waterfront setting.

The main living space and kitchen were updated to create a clean, relaxed gathering area with expansive views, warm finishes, and a layout designed for everyday comfort. The goal was to make the heart of the home feel easy, functional, and welcoming while letting the surrounding scenery remain the focal point.

A new metal spiral staircase was added to improve exterior access and bring a striking architectural detail to the home’s waterside elevation. Its compact design adds function without taking away from the view, creating a practical connection between levels while complementing the coastal setting.

Inside, the primary bedroom and bathroom were renovated to create a more comfortable private retreat. We also expanded the home with an addition that allowed for a new room and bathroom, giving the homeowners more flexibility for family, guests, and long-term use.

The finished renovation brings together coastal views, updated interiors, added living space, and thoughtful details, turning this Gloucester home into a more functional and inviting seaside retreat.
